Hi,There is no option to set the Delivery Relay Time directly. Instead, we can set the message expiration timeout option which will also effect all the sending and receiving email. For example, if you want to change the message expiration time-out to 4 days on an Exchange 2007 computer named Exchange01, run the following command:Set-TransportServer Exchange01 -MessageExpirationTimeout 4.00:00:00For more information, please refer to the below artilce:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998043.aspxThanksAllen

Hi,I've tested to change the message expiration time-out, but i found out that i cannot enter a value <1 day...is there any option to enter a half day for example?

Yes, you can use Set-TransportServer cmdlet as Allen has given example... Like below example set the expiration time out to half day (12 hours)... Set-TransportServer Exchange01 -MessageExpirationTimeout 0.12:00:00 Set-TransportServer http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124238.aspx Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Can it be that i cannot use that command in cmd.exe? The command-shell does not know the command Set-TransportServer...

You need to run it in Exchange Management Shell...Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
